A blue mango smoothie is an excellent healthy way to rejuvenate the body. All it takes is a few simple ingredients, and you are on your way! This delicious healthy blue mango smoothie is a tropical explosion. Do you ask? What is blue spirulina? Blue spirulina is a tasteless odorless form of blue-green algae. (More to come on Cerulean Blue Spirulina & Vital-18).
We recommend using fresh ripe mangos whenever you can, especially in the summer, frozen mango chunks work great, and you can find them in the frozen section at your local grocery store.
Blending Mangos, blue Spirulina, and bananas rock with Greek yogurt, freshly squeezed orange juice, and a touch of agave nectar.
You just created a dream smoothie.
Always using cheap fresh mangos is the way to go in the summer. Frozen mangos are good, but nothing compares to a fresh cut-up mango. You can use any RIPE mangos found at the grocery store to make a delicious smoothie.
Always cut your mango into pieces before you are ready to use the mango. Once the flesh of a mango hits fresh air, it starts breaking down. Remember, cut-up fruit 24 hours old in a refrigerator is not the same as fruit cut on the spot and immediately used. It's 24 hours old!
We use these ingredients to make our smoothie rich and luscious. Just plain good!
There are two things that a person can use to set things apart in the smoothie world. First, bananas, Greek yogurt, and dark agave nectar make a smoothie scream with unique sweetness and texture. Second, we only add (if possible) freshly squeezed juices orange juice or 50/50 combination of orange and pineapple juice. Now for the blend of blends, this blend is my personal Favorite. It's simple, and here it is, oranges, pineapple, and carrots. Yes, that's all. Just try it out, and you will become a fan instantly! 5lbs carrots, 6 to 8 pounds of oranges, and 1 Big Pineapple, then juice it up. Trust me; you will drink all of the juice; it won't get thrown out. Finally, once the smoothie is blended, the rich smoothie comes alive while providing enormous health and digestive benefits.
